Pam's Restaurant Today is the first time in a very long time that I have eaten at Pam's Restaurant. I was actually shocked because I really enjoyed everything that I ate. They have a good variety of items plus all your normal Southern buffet items. I was surprised to see black eye pea salad on the cold bar! Mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole, green beans were all very tasty and fresh! Buffet food can be hit or miss with the freshness but not today at Pam's Restaurant. Everything was fresh. I plan to go back real soon.

Homestyle southern cooking

Not a good selection of meat. Vegetables are fresh and country styled cooked. Very small desert bar. Not worth $10.00 for lunch.

Your typical southern style restaurant with waitress making you feel like your home. Food was great. 25 dollars for two people isn't bad at all.

You have to love a rural area buffet with a leg lamp, bass mounted on the wall and pictures of the family on the wall. And Marilyn Monroe.It's your basic friend chicken, green beans, salad bar, black-eye peas, corn bread buffet with a healthy smattering of cobblers for dessert. Much of it was basic quick fix grub, but that chicken was outstanding. That alone is worth coming back to.The buffet menu changes daily with the items listed on their website.

Not from around here but came here with family on Thanksgiving. There were 12 of us and even though they were busy they got us in right away. The food was great. There wasn’t anything I didn’t finish. Staff was pleasant and in good moods. If I’m around here again I’ll come back!

Pam’s is absolutely amazing if you’re wanting some real home cooking without having to slave in your own kitchen for hours beforehand! The food is divine and all the ladies are the best of the Grandmom types. I needed a bit of assistance as I’m immunosuppressed and was very worried about the fact that it’s a buffet and that SC doesn’t have a mask mandate (although Pam’s does have such a policy). The ladies sat my family and I in an extra isolated area and allowed me to go to the buffet without a crowd. I was able to get untouched areas of different foods as the kitchen is constantly bringing out fresh batches. (They also have gloves out so that nobody has to touch the same serving utensils at the buffet.) Extra kudos for some superior Grandmom worthy sweet potatoes! I’ll be back when I need more peaches in McBee...thank you so much Pam’s!

Kind of gross. Sorry but it was not good. There is a strange taste permeating everything. Overly salt and peppered Mac and cheese. Burned pudding. I heard it used to be good. Not any more. So sad.

Horn DOES work 😁 Great, fun little place. Will definitely stop in again next time we're through. Good home cooking!

The best Sunday lunch spot everyday! Best comfort food Hartsville has to offer. The owners are awesome too.

My wife and I stop on the way to the beach And had lunch now this was only the 2nd time we have eaten there but the 1st time early summer it was amazing but we were pretty disappointed This last time As we for walking in the door in the doorIt looked as if they had it pretty well planned out for this covac 19 thing Everyone was wearing masks were seated when you went to the bar to get your food they had plastic cafeteria gloves and you had to put one of those on your serving hand We sat down and began To eat We look up Our waitress has taken off her mask not wearing any of the gloves and decide she's gonna dig in all the food making her on plate. But that is not why the disappoint there was not much of a selection this time and the deserts looked if they were made the day before and put back out.

They have great service and very friendly. They don't have a huge selection, but I loved their fried chicken, and their peach cobbler was amazing.

Absolutely the best meal I've had in months! It is a buffet but it's reasonably priced and the quality of the food is the best country cooking I've had in years!

Great service and food! My only reason for not giving it 4 stars, the buffet area is so small and impossible to get around. This is our after church spot, which of course will be a busier time), but with staff in and out and 40+ people weaving in and out it can be frustrating. Maybe if the area was a bit larger so you could stand and wait for your turn in line. The dressing and gravy is my favorite off the buffet line!

This is an excellent place to eat. They have a buffet of country cooking and it is very popular with the locals. It can get quite busy on Sunday after church. Today the line snaked outside and they had a fan set up to make those in line a bit more comfortable. The workers are especially friendly and service is excellent. You can't get in the place on Mothers' Day. It's spacious with many booths as well as tables that easily accommodate groups.

My family loves eating here after church on Sundays.
